The much awaited SRK's forthcoming movie Om Shanti Om music was released on september 15th. The movie is directed by Farah Khan. It is her second movie after Main Hoon Na. The movie has so much hype as it revolves in 1970's and present. Also, no need to mention, SRK's new look - his six pack abs. Personally I really did not like (to be frank) his new macho man look as he was able to attract many many girls with his acting etc., i dont think there is any necessity for him to take off his shirt and dance like Salman does. Anyways, we'll have to wait for the movie to be released to know the final verdict of the people. There is one special thing in this movie, that is almost 30 biggest bollywood stars are dancing for the one song. I think song will be remembered by many of us for the coming years. And also, SRK is planning to release this film with massive 2000 Prints which is quite a big number compared to Shivaji (Rajni Kanth's) movie. Although, there are mixed responses about the music, I really liked few songs. To remind you, most of us including me did not like shivaji music when it was released. So, it takes time for the people to like this slow paced music.

3. Deewangi Deewangi (3/5) : I think this song is the one which casts actors like ( Salman, Saif, Sanjay Dutt, Amitab, etc., around 30 of them)

4. Main Agar kahoon (3.5/5) : This is one of the best melody songs i've ever heard with fantastic lyrics. "main agar kahoon, tumsa hasee kayanath mein nahi hain koi"

5. Jag Soona Soona Lage (2/5) : Not upto the expectations. I did not like this song. Dont go for it.

6. Dhoom Taana (2/5) : No comments on this song. This is one of the worst composed songs i've ever heard in SRK movies. Its better not to discuss about it. Don't try to download this song and waste ur time.

7. Daastan - e- Om Shanti om (4/5) : This song is my favourite after ajab si song. It was well sung by Shaan. Great song in the end. I really liked it.

The music of OSO can be compared with JBJ in many ways-
1.OsO n JbJ(same first and last letters :)
2.One melody in each - Ajab si in OSO, Bol na Halke Halke in JBJ.
3.One standard tune used in almost all the songs - Check the theme music on OSO,it is there in almost every song.Similarly Jhoom barabar Jhoom tune was used in other songs repeatedly.
But the Similarity ends there. JBJ's music was a hit.OSO??..It can be a hit too but the chances have been reduced due to songs like Dhoom tana and a couple of routine and boring tracks.
When it is an SRK movie, the music is ought to be a hit. Why think about SRK movies,even if it is an Arjun Rampal starrer, the music can be gud too (I SEE YOU music by Vishal-Shekhar). The basic principle they(Vishal-Shekhar) have followed till now was variety and novelty. But I dont understand why they didnt stick to that principle and tried some standard fundas of shankar-ehsaan-loy.
Probably that was Farah Khan's requirement,so lets see how the movie fares..ciao.
