1. Sachin is the youngest Indian cricket player to make his test debut at an age of 16 years, 205 days against Pakisthan in 1989 in karachi.he is the youngest to score test 50.

People were beginning to wonder whether he will ever get to three figure mark but on septermber 9, 1994 he silenced all his critics with a masterly 110 against Aussies at the premadasa Stadium in Colombo in the Singer Cup.
